PAG-IBIG HOUSING LOAN VS BANK LOAN

PAG IBIG Housing Loan VS A Bank Loan: A Comprehensive Guide to Home Buying

PAG IBIG Housing Loan
Having their own house is the ultimate dream of every Filipino family. But the truth is,  most of those who plan to purchase a house do not have a ready cash to pay for it, or even if they have, they would prefer to apply for a loan to complete it.
Saving for your first home purchase may take for a couple of years, and by the time that you are ready for it, the house that you wanted must have long been sold. Or the value of your money can no longer purchase the same quality house you’d always wanted. You might want to consider applying for a housing loan to realize your dream.
When we hear of  a housing loan, the Home Development Mutual Fund or commonly known as PAG IBIG housing loan fund comes first to our mind. We definitely will not miss it because a small amount of our salary is deducted to pay for our monthly contribution. Providing loan to finance our houses is one of the services provided by the institution.
If you are shopping around for the best house to buy, you might want to shop around for housing loan provided by banks too because you might find a better deal. Many of us are a bit intimidated to inquire from banks, we may be thinking of higher interest rate, stricter requirements, or lesser chance that the loan may be approved.

DAVAO Ranked 4th Safest Cities in the World!!!

The city of Davao ranked fourth as the world's safest place, according to website www.Numbeo.com.
Out of 349 entries, Davao City is the only metropolis in the Philippines that made it to the top 10. It has a crime index of 13.27 and safety index of 86.73.
Makati landed at 20th place with a crime index of 18.75 and safety index of 81.25.

The only other cities listed from the Philippines are: Manila with a crime index of 64.54 and safety index of 35.46, and Cebu with a crime index of 46.88 and safety index of 53.12.

According to the website, safety index is, on the other way, quite opposite of crime index. If the city has a high safety index, it is considered very safe.

It said that it is 93.75 percent safe to walk alone during daylight in Davao, while 76.69 percent safe to walk alone during night.

"These data are based on perceptions of visitors of this website in the past two years. If value is 0, it means it is perceived as very low, and if value is 100, it means it is perceived as very high," the website said.

With regard the crime index of 18.75, the website explained, the issue with the highest rate is the problem on corruption and bribery with 31.67, followed by “worries things from car stolen” with 29.69, then “worries home broken and things stolen” with 26.56.

The issue with the least crime rate is “worries being subject to a physical attack because of your skin color, ethnic origin or religion” with 6.67.

§  One of Only Three Areas in World to have the Integrated Emergency Response System 911
§  Project 911 – Top 25 Best Practices in the Philippines
Davao City is one of only three areas in world, after the United States and Canada, to have the Integrated Emergency Response System 911, a fully integrated, computerized response system linking the people of Davao City to the emergency resources of the government.  It is patterned after the emergency dispatch system of the U.S. and Canada that enables people in need of emergency assistance to summon necessary aid and emergency services from public safety agencies by simply dialing 911.
Davao City received an award for its Project 911 from the League of Cities in the Philippines in 2003, as one of the Top 25 Best Practices in the Philippines.  Davao’s Project 911 enables public safety agencies to respond to emergency cases immediately in a more effective and coordinated manner, thereby saving lives, protecting properties, stopping crimes, and preventing major fire loss.
Response times of all service sectors are as follows: Fire Auxiliary Services at 5:55 (min:sec) per run; Law Enforcement at 8:38; Urban Search and Rescue Services at 8:50; and Emergency Medical Services at 15:34.
It empowers Dabawenyos to actively participate in government affairs, particularly in cultivating and maintaining a peaceful environment, making Davao City a safe community to live, work, and visit.
